On the child level, IRC programs ensure that children are safe and cared for. This is ideally done in a family or family-like environment that promotes their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and economic well-being. The IRC uses a case management approach to identify vulnerable children, provide immediate protection and ensure that their individual needs are addressed.
